Applications are invited for (ONE) temporary position of Project Research Scientist-I in a ICMR sponsored project at the Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering, IIT Kanpur.

 

Project Research Scientist-I (01)

 

Minimum Qualification:

A first-class postgraduate degree (including integrated PG degrees) with 1–2 years of post- PG research experience is required.

Second class postgraduate degree, including the integrated PG degree with PhD.

 

 

Desirable work experience: Candidates should have prior experience in mouse handling, colony maintenance, and precise dosing techniques such as intraperitoneal injection and oral gavage. They should be proficient in mouse dissection, tissue and plasma/serum collection, cardiac perfusion and tissue IHC/IF. Strong hands-on skills in molecular biology— including RNA isolation, quantitative RT-PCR, western blotting, ELISA, biochemical assays—are expected.Hands-on experience with liver-metabolism–related research is preferred but not essential.

 

Salary Range: INR 56000/- +18% HRA pm

 

Note:

The position is purely temporary, initially for one year, and it can be extended further based on performance
